Meter modification sensorSpot™ offers an on-site metering modification technology that results in substantial cost savings by eliminating meter replacement. Existing meters are converted using a low-cost molded IR sensor with pulse outlets proportional to the meter gearing registration. The sensor is tamper-safe, insensible to daylight interference and mounted externally on water and gas meters.

Electromechanical meters are modified by replacing the meter cover with a new one, equipped with a sensor kit.

The modification procedure is short and simple, and requires no special tools. The process is concluded by sealing the meter and obtaining approval by regulation authorities.

Versions of small register sensors with external supply, low consumption and various interfaces - DLMS, I2C, RS232 etc.- are available upon request.
