During 2007 a reference site was installed in Çerkezköy TOKI Yıldızkent, Turkey, for Dexar, a Turkish multimedia and telecommunication company.

The system consisted of a GTR-12 unit, which interfaced to different types of gas meters equipped with external sensors, and a powerline network with a DCU concentrator which was interfaced by a RS232 port with a VSAT Ethernet modem to transfer data via satellite to the MDM central operation system. The system operated in the data-logging mode.

The project engineer supplied a full report: " In summary, Ganot's AMR system demonstration was successful. Metering data was successfully received from the central computer. There was no difference between data received from the AMR system and real data. Ganot's AMR system successfully worked in a conjunction with all four types of meters."
