Mr. Baruch Menchel – President and CEO

Mr. Baruch Menchel is the founder and main shareholder of Nortex. Prior to Nortex Menchel spent 27 years as a shareholder and the R&D manager in Ganot Electronics Industries Ltd., which was founded in 1983 as a System House in the defense sector.

Over the last 15 years Menchel was the manager for the AMR/AMI program in Ganot, with responsibilities for project resources, sponsorship grants of the Israeli Chief Scientist Office, and managing the R&D group during the engineering process.

Menchel holds a B.Sc. degree in electronics from the Israel Technion Institute of Technology since 1973, with expertise in system definition and R&D of communication embedded solutions.

Mr. Edward Fizitzky – Project Manager

Mr. Edward Fizitzky has been the project manager of the Spot™ project for the last decade. He holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for real time embedded solutions, with specific expertise in system modeling and advance protocols of data and wireless communication systems.

Fizitzky is an expert on powerline and mesh networks, ATM, PCM Matrix switching, ISDN and PSTN/GSM modems. He also has expertise on advanced embedded solutions like ARM 7, 8051 PIC families with RT software in C, C++ and C# .

Mr. Itzhak Devir – Chief of Marketing & Business Operation

Mr. Itzhak Devir holds an MBA from Bernard Baruch College, NYC.

Devir began his career with the Israel Electric Co. (IEC), where he worked for over 23 years, gaining experience in purchasing of equipment for power station construction, contract negotiations and financial management.

Devir joined Ganot in 2004 and was responsible for supplying AMR systems to the Turkish market.

Devir continues his marketing activities in Nortex by promoting Spot™ in new markets.
